All multi-agency professionals working with children and families.
Overview
In May 2025, the new multi-agency Child Exploitation Procedures, Pathway and CE tools will be launched. The new Procedures and Pathway will help ensure victims of Child Exploitation, including sexual and criminal, will get the right support at the right time.
Professionals need to understand their roles in the process and the new CE tools will aid professionals in the assessment of CE and determine the correct pathway and approach in tackling this ever-increasing issue. This knowledge and awareness of new procedure is essential for all professionals working with children and families.
Aims
The aim of the session is:
- To raise awareness and understanding of the new Child Exploitation Procedures.
- To understand, and know how and when to use, the new Child Exploitation Pathway.
- To understand the role and responsibilities all professionals have in tackling Child Exploitation.
- To understand the new Child Exploitation tools; when and how to use them.
