💻 Online Workshop: Developing Professional Curiosity in Adult Social Care

Audience
This one day session is designed for social care practitioners working directly with adults.
Aim
This workshop will support practitioners to build the skills and knowledge to embed professional curiosity as a central component of their practice. Participants will examine the importance of professional curiosity in adult social care practice and explore learning from situations where professional curiosity has not always been evident.
Participants will also be provided with different tools, practices and skills to support professionally curious practice.
Learning Outcomes
- Describe professional curiosity and outline what it looks like in practice.
- Explain why professional curiosity is a central component of effective adult social care practice.
- Apply tools that support being professionally curious.
- Recognise factors that can affect professional curiosity.
- Understand the role of reflective supervision in professional curiosity.
- Plan how to better integrate professional curiosity into practice
Please Note: This event is a six hour online workshop delivered through Microsoft Teams. Please ensure you are able to attend the whole workshop. A quiet, undisturbed environment will help you get the most from the session.
